School Skills Group
Our School Skills Group supports your child to continue to develop skills for school.
- Fine motor skills
- Handwriting skills
- Self-care skills
- Independence in the classroom environment
- Following instructions
- Asking for help
- Confidence and self-esteem
- Executive functioning skills (planning and organising)
- Working in pairs/small group on joint tasks
- Social skills development such as sharing and taking turns with peers
Who: This group is suitable for children aged 5-8 years of age who have already completed at least one term of schooling at a mainstream school.
Funding
You may choose to pay privately for this service, or if you have NDIS funding you may use the funding allocated in your capacity building supports - improved daily living. Please note your NDIS funding will need to be plan or self-managed.
When: Please get in touch to register your interest for this group. If minimum numbers are met, this group will run in the school holidays between term 3 and 4 2021, and in the summer holidays 2022. Email us your child's name to find out more.
